Using Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 for Style Designer
The Style Designer is a very powerful tool in Microsoft Office PowerPoint that is used to add, modify and delete media and graphic objects of a selected report. The screen shot below shows the Style Designer dialogue of an empty report:
To open this dialogue box, click on “Tools”, then “Style Designer” and click OK. In the Style Designer window, you can add, delete and change various visual items such as fonts, colors, patterns, borders, clipboards, headings, text boxes and navigation tabs. If you need to add new items, just click on “New Item” on the Style Designer menu. The following text boxes are the ones you will fill in to define your new theme in your presentation: Style, Tab, border style, border tab, width, style name, style description, style logo, title, active X, inactive X and more.
To make the changes to your selected styles, first select all the items you want to modify. Then double click on one of them and a pop up window will appear with the changes you made to that item. In order to save your changes, click on “Save Changes to Selection” and name your selection. Now you have a selected style in your Microsoft PowerPoint. To preview your changes, click on “Preview” tab and then change the styles and colors according to your needs.
