A good art designer must be able to come up with original ideas and make them interesting enough to be used in a website. In order to do this, they must have good communication skills and possess good graphic design skills. In order to become successful in this field, one needs to start at the bottom and work their way up. It is best if you attend one of the art college’s Schools of Art and Design to get the proper training. Art school does not only help you learn how to become a good designer but it will teach you what it takes to succeed in the graphic design industry.
Another position that an Art Director holds is that of the production artist. They work closely with the designer and the artist in making the design process as seamless as possible. The production artist doesn’t just draw the graphics, but they also assist in conceptualizing the look of each page and ultimately in implementing the artwork. A production artist is not only responsible for drawing all the elements of the website, but they also create the layout and ensure that everything is put together perfectly.
